“Custom Edit” feature allows players to customize various aspects of the game to make for a more exciting gameplay.

Players can customize the game with in-app purchases. Some of the customizations available are: “EVASION SUPPORT” which makes it easier to dodge opponents’ bullets, “SHOT BOOST” which lets you start the game with a powerful weapon and “BEE LICENSE” which gives you a special pass to the second round which normally can only be accessed by beating the hardest mode.

this is the most impressive shmup ive ever played ! This iOS port is simply Amazing ! Hopefully well get à Hd version for iPad ... Cave, what about Ketsui on iOS ? :-)

I would be very appreciated if you put the bgm option to choose from the arrange and the original poly gamemaster soundtrack. While the arrange ost was great, i personally prefer the original one. Thanks!

Looks awesome on my iPad... Would be even better if it were Universal like Bug Princess, but this works just fine!

Being able to play DoDonPachi on the go is so awesome! The game is great for beginners to experts in shooters. It can be tough at times, but is worth it when you beat the game. Graphics are arcade perfect, controls are great but I recommend you have a matte style screen protector so that your fingers can glide with ease. Supurb job Cave! Keep them coming!

One of the best shooting game ever made in Japan, now on our hand hold! As you might know already, this is a danmaku (curtain of bullets) shooting. It suppose to be hard. Let me tell you couple great thing about this game. 1, daioujou costs heck of a lot of money to buy for PS2 or Xbox! And this one is only under $10! Great deal 2, while daifukkatsu was great, this one is something special. Unlike daifukkatsu, this one has more classic style. The real arcade feeling. 3. Still the same sound track which I love the most. Boss music is great! 4. Control has no issues. Smooth and fast (well on iOS5 iPod Touch 4G that is) 5. Good replay value. It is notoriously hard to reach second loop to see the real final boss (if you want to know just search it on web. No Spoiler!) Since I have seen millions of people who doesnt understand arcade game, let me say it in first place. You might say "it needs more ship!" or "game is too short!!". Remember, THIS IS ARCADE GAME. Have you ever seen a arcade that last as much as console and makes people line up to wait for player to be done for hours and hours? No. Have you ever seen a arcade game that has millions of weapon that you need to choose from 60 seconds? No. My arcade game definition: simplicity, and addiction. Does this game fit my definition? Hell, yes.

Originally released for the PS2 back in 2003, this bad boy would cost you over $90 to import. Along with the rest of the games by Cave, these are some of the best controlling games on the entire iTunes Store. The gameplay is fast paced and smooth, the controls are fluid and tight, and the graphics are amazing. Do yourself a favor and snatch this up!

iOS and Cave shooters were meant to be together. Theres simply no better way to play a vertical shooter than this. Better have some power and memory on your idevice or this experience might not be enjoyable---at all.

Usually I get excited about iOS games made by Cave just for the simple fact that I love this company. So when a new game is released I do not hesitate and I purchase the game immediately, and for the most part Im satisfied. This is exactly what I did with this game, I knew what I was in for, but it also threw me off guard. I love this game, from the customizable options (you can even change the speed of the game for crying out loud) to the stripped down arcade roots of the game. I love it, and Ill be quite honest, Im not a huge fan of the smartphone modes of past games but I also appreciate the fact that they are there, but this game does not need them. Everything about this game is the reason why I play this type of genre, I cant get enough of it. 6 out of 5 stars.
